Is there alcohol in your kombucha?
Our kombucha is naturally fermented, which does produce trace amounts of alcohol. However, we
carefully control our brewing process to ensure that all our core and seasonal flavours remain
strictly non-alcoholic (under 0.5% ABV) and safe for everyone to enjoy.
Do I need to keep the bottles refrigerated?
Yes! Because our kombucha is raw, unpasteurized, and full of living probiotics, it must be kept
refrigerated at all times. If left out at room temperature, the fermentation process will
continue, which can alter the flavour and cause excess carbonation.
How much sugar is in each bottle?
Unlike traditional sodas, we use organic cane sugar primarily to feed our Scoby during
fermentation, rather than to sweeten the final drink. The yeast consumes most of this sugar,
leaving only 4g to 8g of residual sugar per bottle depending on the flavour profile.
Can I switch flavours in my subscription box?
Absolutely. You have complete control over your subscription box. Just log into your Culture
Club account before your next billing date to swap flavours, adjust delivery frequency, or skip
a week. No strings attached.
